Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 43.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 9 March.
The first tranche stood at EGP 20 billion, carrying a maturity period of 182 days until 12 September 2023, according to official data.
With a 364-day tenor until 12 March 2024, the second issue was valued at EGP 23.50 billion.
Earlier this week, the CBE auctioned T-bills worth EGP 35 billion through two offerings.
